We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has received Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour.
What is Baptism?
Baptism is a public declaration of your personal commitment to follow Christ. In the Bible, baptism shows the old life (a life of sin) being put away and a new life (committed to following Christ) emerging.
In baptism, we identify with what Jesus did for us through His death and resurrection. By obeying His command to be baptised, we identify with the power of the cross and resurrection to deliver us completely from the power and authority of sin.
Acts 2:38 (NKJV) … “Repent, and let every one of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
